Gift Aid Declaration
To qualify for the Gift Aid scheme, you must make the following declaration to the Society, usually using the Gift Aid section of the Membership Application form. Please note that you must notify the Society if your circumstances change and you no longer pay enough tax to satisfy the criteria in the declaration.
Higher-rate taxpayers can claim personal tax relief on your Gift-aided contributions.
"I am a UK resident and pay an amount of income tax and capital gains tax at least equal to the tax that The Marlow Society will reclaim on my subscription and any donations that I may make in a tax year. I wish The Marlow Society to treat as Gift Aid donations all donations I make to them from the date of this declaration until I notify the Society otherwise."
