Temple Bridge

Temple Bridge was closed by the Environmental Agency in May 2023 due to safety concerns, thereby removing a vital link in the Thames Path which has had to be diverted through Bisham. Since then nothing has happened to the bridge causing a great deal of consternation amongst local residents and users. Information from the Agency has been sparse, and recently they announced they would be removing the central section (necessitating a river closure) from 10th September. The long-term plans for the bridge, replacement or refurbishment, are unknown.
