Members of the Society’s Planning Sub Committee monitor all planning applications notified on the Wycombe District Council Weekly Planning Bulletin. Those with a significant impact on the town are examined in detail and, where appropriate, comments or objections are submitted. Meetings of the Marlow Town Council planning sub committee are normally attended.

The Society pays particular attention to the preservation of the Town’s Conservation Area. It is an unfortunate fact that property owners make unauthorised changes to building in this special area without satisfying the relevant regulations. Members are urged to advise us if they see changes to buildings that do not appear to follow the rules.
