The Marlow Museum Centre is open betwen 2pm and 4 pm on Sundays. It will re-open fully at Easter.
During its first two seasons the museum has attracted thousands of visitors. Congratulations are due to John Evans and his team of volunteers for their great success in launching and sustaining the project. With a two year lease available from Wycombe District Council for the Peacock Room (outside Court Gardens), the donation of valuable display equipment from the Bucks Museum Service and considerable funding from the Awards for All Lottery and Marlow Town Council, the prospect of an independently funded Marlow Museum is becoming a reality. The Marlow Society Executive has given a donation of £250.00 from Society funds to help the Museum become established and it has worked with with the Museum organisers on the loan of artefacts in its care.
The Marlow Museum Centre serves the communities of Marlow Town and its surrounding parishes of Bisham, Little Marlow, Marlow Bottom and Medmenham.
