River Thames Links Print

We have very extensive links with other societies, organisations and individuals who share our aims and interests, see below for a sample of Web sites specific to the River Thames.

For links to other Web sites which may be of general interest, see our Web Links page.

If you have any suggestions about which links would be most useful, use the Contact Us page.

Visit Thames - is the main Environment Agency (EA) sponsored Web site for information about events and activities along the river

The Thames Path - a National Trail now following the river bank for most of its length

The Thames Traditional Boat Rally - an excellent site for pictures of traditional river craft

Thames Pilot - a source of many images and documents relating to the River Thames

The River Thames Alliance - the RTA is a partnership of public and private sector organisations to help manage the future of the non-tidal Thames. It is administered by the EA and was establsihed in June 2003 following a River Thames Society initiative supported by the Marlow Society and others. We have worked with the Chiltern Society and the River Thames Society over recent years to secure a sustainable future for the river environment. This is now reflected to some extent in the EA & RTA Thames Waterway Plan and we hope will be enshrined in Government planning policy when the SE Plan is approved.
