Geoff Wood, a member of the Society's Executive Committee, has applied to English Heritage to have the red Gilbert Scott telephone boxes in the High Street, Quoiting Square and Station Approach to be granted listed status.

The Society was concerned by the plans of BT to remove or replace these boxes which are an integral part of Marlow's street scene.

Geoff has coordinated his action with the Marlow Town Council.
