Full details on the 'Forgotten Marlow' coming soon. Start: 2pm from Liston Hall Forgotten Marlow This is a gentle walk on flat paved surfaces to parts of Marlow that we do not visit on other walks. We begin at Liston Hall and Chapel Street and then stroll through the Rookery Gardens. In 1857 this was “a full, foul and offensive” cesspit: today it is a beautiful park, largely forgotten. We then learn about The Old Police Station, Holy Trinity Church, The Forge, The Gas Works, The Duke of Cambridge, The old Oxford Road Quoitings and the Klondyke. We return to Liston Hall in about 1½ hours.
