Local History Group Events 2009

The Marlow Society Local History Group is running a range of walks and events this year and we invite you to come along... CHARGES & BOOKING INFORMATION:

For MS Lectures in the Main Hall of Liston Hall (Chapel St), on the 4th Tues. of some months, a charge of £2 per member /£3 per non-member is made.
For LHG Talks in the Garden Room, Liston Hall, on the 3rd Monday of most months a charge of £1 per member is made.
For LHG Walks, a charge of £2 per person is made. Children are not charged.
There is no need to book for lectures, talks or walks – just turn up and pay on the day.
For LHG Visits, which often include a pub lunch and car-sharing, booking is required. Any charge will be advised at the time of booking.

Guided tour of Widmere Chapel for Heritage Days

Starting point: Widmere Farm, Widmere Lane, Marlow SL7 3DF. Widmere Lane lies on the left side of the B482 Marlow to Stokenchurch Road about 2 miles north of Marlow. Look out for the direction signs.

This is an English Heritage even for which ther is no charge. An illustrated leaflet describing the Chapel is availabe at a price of 50p.
